Counselling on Pregnancy and Abortion
Our counselling centres are open to everyone in Germany. We provide counselling to refugees on pregnancy and abortion. We also counsel those who are supporting refugees.
Key information:
- Counselling is free of charge.
- You will need to make an appointment in advance.
- Please let us know if you need an interpreter. Interpretation is also free of charge.
- We are bound by professional confidentiality. This means that we will not pass on anything you tell us. You can speak openly with us.
- Regarding abortion in Germany: in most cases, abortion is only possible within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Counselling is a legal requirement before an abortion. If you are considering an abortion, please make a counselling appointment as soon as possible – for example at one of our counselling centres.

Support for pregnant people in crisis (Federal Foundation Mother and Child)
